Joe Root will miss the first test against West Indies which is going to held on July 8 in Southampton, Ageas Bowl. His Wife Carrie estimated to give birth for second child on the First week of July.

Root added that he will be with his wife in the time of delivery and he can’t able to play the first test due to the Government norms. But he will be return to both 2nd and 3rd Test which is going to be held in Old Trafford. Ben Stokes would be named as a captain of England during the First test against West Indies.

Ben Stokes not even captained for England in the previous circumstances and he will be debut as a captain in Ageas bowl test. He only captained in three under 17 matches for Durham and has 33% win accuracy. Joe Root had a word on Ben stokes that ” He has a good qualities in captaining England side and he produces all his capabilities while performing as Vice Captain with me”.

He also added that ” Ben stokes is the kind of person who grabs the players talent and delivers it in the field, I think this is the most needed quality for the captain to Guide the top team.

First Test: July 8-12 – Ageas Bowl, Southampton

Second Test: July 16-20 – Old Trafford, Manchester

Third Test: July 24-28 – Old Trafford, Manchester
